MESSY CHURCH

Crafts, Singing, Food, Fun

Sun 19th September,
4 - 6 pm

What is Messy Church?

Messy Church started in a Church of England in Portsmouth and now has its own website at www.messychurch.org.uk. It’s a place simply for families to have fun together. Messy Church aims to create the opportunity for parents, carers, grandparents and children to enjoy expressing their creativity, sit down together to eat some food, sing some songs about Jesus and have fun within a church context.

What goes on?

Painting, craft making, board games, tea & biscuits, a couple of worship songs designed for children to love, a story (maybe from the Bible, maybe not), then jelly and ice cream to finish the afternoon off!

Who can come?

Anyone as long as they bring a child! Messy Church is designed for families of whatever size and make-up: parents, single parents, grandparents, carers. The important thing is to come together and take part in everything together.

Is there a charge?

No, but you may need some change for the car park - see Contact us.

How can I get there?

Messy Church meets in the main church building, which is on the corner of Bargates and Beaconsfield Road, near the main town roundabout and the Blockbuster video store (postcode for sat navs BH23 1QT). Please park in the public car parks nearby. See Contact us for details.

See you there!!
