The vision of Sharing the Journey is to enable CBC women to support and encourage one another on their faith journey.

We meet quarterly on Saturday mornings to share time together in a safe and peaceful space. We love to build relationships across generations and life stages, encouraging women to take time-out for refreshment, reflection and spiritual growth.

Our events are usually held in the Christian Centre from 10am to 11.30am and we always finish on time.  We begin by catching up with each other over good quality coffee and homemade treats.  This is usually followed by a speaker and then opportunity for small group discussion to reflect on the speaker's message. There is time for worship and private or small group prayer.

We have been encouraging CBC Women since 2015 (proudly continuing through lockdown against the odds!) and we really look forward to extending our warm welcome to all women in the years ahead.

What is important to you?
As the Sharing the Journey team prepare for another year of events, we are keen to include subjects that are important for CBC women.  If there is a subject area you would like us to explore, please let us know.  This year we will have a little Suggestions Box on our refreshments table for you to drop in any ideas you may have.  Your thoughts are always welcome.  Thank you.

Our next Saturday morning event is on 08 October 2022

Saturday morning events for the rest of 2022 are planned for:
08 October | Topic TBC
03 December | Hush Before the Rush.

Sharing the Journey (STJ) Creatively
We plan to meet regularly on a Friday evening to learn and share a variety of crafts, enjoying each other's company along the way.

Felt Flower Making
You are invited to Sharing the Journey Creatively on Friday evening 15 July 2022 in the Church at 7pm - 9pm.   During this event we will be learning how to make Felt Flowers.  Experienced crafters will be available to help you follow step by step instructions to create your own beautiful felt flowers, and master this technique.

All materials and equipment will be provided.  For those that can we are asking for a donation of £3 per person which includes all materials and equipment, plus refreshments.

This relaxed and friendly event is open to all women from teenagers upwards, regardless of previous crafting experience. You are welcome to join the craft activity, bring your own project, or just come for a chat.   If you would like to join us for a fun evening of fellowship and craft, please sign up here, so we can ensure we have enough materials for everyone.

If you can't make this event, our next STJ Creatively event is planned for Friday 23 September.

2022 STJ Creatively sessions are planned for:
15 July | Felt Flowers
23 September | Craft TBC
